STEPS OF FILES

This guide will help you prepare your electronic files and send them. If you find any situation that is not covered in this guide, or if you have additional questions, please contact us at (303) 437-1474. Incorrectly prepared files can cause production delays.

Quick Checklist

  • Readable texts

  • Check for spelling errors in the text

  • Submit the correct page layout

  • Use the established margins

  • The graph must match the dimensions specified

  • All linked files, images, and fonts must be placed in separate folders

  • Colors in mode CMYK

Bleeds

You should add 1/8 of an inch of bleed to the edge of the photos and designs so that there is no white space or a border around the art. It is also important to keep the text at least 1/4 inch apart from the edge of the paper or cut line. This helps prevent accidental cuts

Color Specifications

Previews are not a safe measurement tool for color accuracy. The colors can be affected by the resolution of the monitor, the calibration of the screen and / or lighting.

To achieve the desired color in the press, digital files refer to accurate color and percentage models. Please make sure that all colors are in CMYK mode for color accuracy and better quality.
